Wendy Gilbertson, FNP, has been an Arizona licensed Nurse Practitioner for 10 years specializing in sports medicine and vascular health.  

She is originally from Orono, Minnesota where she was a gymnast for the United States Gymnastics Federation. She still loves talking about those days.  She enjoys her summers where she likes to take time to get away to her family summer home in Northern Wisconsin on the South Shore of Lake Superior.

She received her undergrad at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She graduated Cum Laude and a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Nu Upsilon Chapter.  She studied hyperbaric medicine and wound care as a nurse and then went on receive her Masters Degree at Georgetown University in Washington DC were she also received her Family Nurse Practitioner degree and graduated Cum Laude and as a member of Sigma Theta Tau - Tau Chapter.
